Following the counting of the votes casted in the just concluded gubernatorial election in Edon State, it can be categorically stated that incumbent governor, Adams Oshiomole will be returning to office as governor of the state for his second term, barring any further complications.
With the compilation of the result finished, here is how they all stand:
The implication of this result is that the INEC is expected to declare Oshiomole winner of the elections any moment from now. Supporters of the governor already took to the streets in jubilation even before the end of the compilation as the landslide victory was already evident.
None of the contestants have yet come out to make any public statement concerning the development. However, Adams Oshiomole is expected to come out to address the public, especially the electorate of the state who have chosen to retain him as their governor for the next four years.
