Corporal James Ameh, a Mobile police officer serving in Rivers State was battered by 6 police officers that he was working with. The Officers came to the duty post with a Hilux van, and were attached to the Elimgbu divisional police headquarters.
Corporal Ameh tried to stop his colleagues from extorting money from motorists at Eleme Junction roundabout, Obio/Akpor local government area in Rivers State and that appeal lead to their beating him silly before drifting to Comma.
The Corporal was dumped on the street by the rouge officers and some unsympathetic members of the public did not help his situation.
I'm Appealing to the Inspector General of Police to ensure that these errant officers are apprehended and prosecuted with further delay.
Corporal Ameh, you are the HOPE for generation of Nigerians to come.
