Over some time now, it has been observed that funerals has taken a new dimension in Ekpoma, Edo state.
It all started last year when Djs where invited to burial ceremonies. I remember a vivid incident; where the invited Dj started dishing out hot Nigeria jams(p-square- chop my morning, Dr.Sid- over the moon, Terry_G- akpako..etc).
The most funny thing was that the children of the diseased were dancing with joy on the road. I was flabawhelmed to see people who are suppose to be mourning, dancing wit so much energy & relish. Presently, it's now a way/style of mourning in Ekpoma..(imagine dancing to OLIVER TWIST & DAMI-DURO at d funeral of a loved one..LoL
