N44Million Scam Bribe- House Rep

Top shots in the Nigerian stock exchanged have confirmed that the chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Capital Market and other Institutions, Hon Herman Hembe (PDP, Benue), actually demand for N44million bribe from the DG of Nigerian Security and Exchange Commission (SEC), Ms Arunma Oteh, as claimed.
Some senior member of the House are on the verge of scraping the committee and are bent of turning Hon Hembe over to the Anti-corruption Agency for prosecution.
Herman Hembe graduated from Benue State University in 2004, he did his NYSC in 2005 and was elected into the Federal House of Representative in 2007.
Ms Arunma Oteh was called back from Overseas to Manage the Nigerian Security and Exchange Commission and an apartment was provided for her at the Hilton Trascop Hotel.
The Huge bill associated with her accommodation and related expenses was one of the subject of the House committee inquiry.

While we do not see Ms Ms Arunma Oteh as a saint, the action of our Honorable members is appalling and disheartening.
