Ifeanyi Ubah Escapes Assassination

According to a report by Sun News, billionaire business man, politician and founder/CEO of Transformation Am­bassadors of Nigeria (TAN), Ifeanyi Ubah, es­caped suspected assassins recently. According to reports, the chairman of Capital Oil Lim­ited, was supposed to go inspect one of his lands situated in an area after Apo mechanic village in Abuja but changed his mind last minute and instead asked his TAN directors to go at the last minute.

When the people he sent arrived the site, they were shot by gunmen who were already laying in wait for them at the site. One of his aides, identified as Mbanefo was killed while the other named Barrister Chuman was abducted.


A top security source dis­closed to Daily Sun that the incident occurred on Wednes­day and ransom of about N10 million was paid the next day before Chuma was released.

The source said the person­nel of the Department of State Security Service (DSS) have arrested the kidnappers, with their loot at a hotel in Marara­ba, another densely populated area in Nasarawa State not far from Abuja city centre.

Trekking Fever: Two Men Trek To Kaduna To Sympathize With Governor Yero Over His Election Defeat

As several people trekked long distances to felicitate with winners of the just concluded 2015 general elections, two people have commenced trekking from Makarfi to Kaduna to sympathise with Gov. Muktar Yero.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Yero lost the Kaduna State Governorship seat to Malam Nasir El-Rufai during the April 11 election.

Speaking in an interview with Journalists in Zaria on Sunday, one of the trekkers, Malam Rabi’u Sarkin-Musulmi, said they started the journey early Sunday morning at about 2:00a.m.
“We started the journey from Makarfi, headquarters of Makarfi Local Government Area of Kaduna State at about 2:00a.m. and we expect to be in Kaduna by 1:00p.m. on Monday, May 11.
“The essence of our trekking is to go and sympathise with Gov. Muktar Yero over his defeat during the governorship election.
“We want to show him love, concern and encourage him not to give-up on his political ambition”, he said.
His co-trekker, Malam Abdulmuminu Dakare, said as bonafide PDP members, they believed that power comes from God Almighty, “this is what our leader, Gov. Muktar Yero is preaching.
“He always believes that nobody can give you power except God Almighty, the giver and taker of all powers,” he said.
Dakare also said that they initiated the trek to satisfy their urge and to convey a message of succour and relief to the out-going governor. (NAN)

For Rejecting His Advances, Man Kills Married Woman And Her Young Daughter

A mother and her two daughters got off a bus, when a man who had been stalking her, came up to her and made s*xual advances. The man of the Shaanxi province in China, had been after the married woman for some time, and when she rejected his advances, he killed her along with her 4-year-old daughter.
Her 12-year-old daughter watched as her mother and sister were brutally stabbed to death in the street. The woman and her children were waiting for her husband to pick them up from the bus stop, when the suspect approached them and tried to hit on her.
When the mother refused his advances, the man pulled a knife from his van and stabbed the mother and her 4-year-old daughter. The 12-year-old girl managed to escape unharmed.
The father arrived at the scene to find his wife and young daughter in a pool of blood. The husband told police that the other man had been chasing his wife for some time and the couple had met with him to ask him to stop his advances. The suspect fled and police are still looking for him.
